How did you end up with all this speed if your parents were just normal hedgehogs?

A long as I can remember, I've always had the ability to run really fast. I was just born with it.

How fast can you go (MPH) and how long would it take you to run around the world once? Also, who could beat you in a race, Knuckles, Tails, Shadow, Cream, Rouge, Amy or Dr. Eggman?

I have the ability to instantly accelerate to the speed of sound. That's about 760 MPH at 59*F...pretty fast, huh? The only character that would really have a chance against me would be Shadow…but then again, I've never lost a race!

Hey Sonic. Why is Rouge a bad guy on SONIC X? I thought she was a governor spy?

You are totally right, Rouge will again be a spy for the governor as she was in Sonic Adventure 2. As for being a bad guy, she's more of a spy that is driven by her own motivation.

Why hasn't there been a Sonic movie?

Well Tyler, I learned to do the Spindash back in the Genesis days. It just came to me one day when I tried combining a simple somersault with running.

Have you ever wished you had a brother? I don't mean Shadow.

Well I actually have a little "adopted" brother in Tails. He and I go way back! Ever since I stopped the bullies from teasing him about having two tails, he's been like my shadow, following me on every adventure. He's a really cool inventor and has mad mechanical skills to boot!

Will Ray the Flying Squirrel, Bean the Duck, Chaos, Nack, Tikal, and Bark reappear? P.S: COOL SITE!!!

Actually, I don't know exactly where they are…but we do have some old faces from the past that will be with me in Sonic Heroes…make sure to check 'em out!

Why did you change your shoes in Sonic Adventure 2 Battle?

Those were special shoes that were specifically made for grinding. It was something that I've always wanted to try and it sure came in handy! Look forward for some more intense and extreme grinding in my next adventure, Sonic Heroes.

They're all my friends…I like them all, but that Amy sure can be a pain…sometimes or should I say most of the time!

Well I really don't consider any of these guys my enemy in the true sense. Dr. Eggman has always found a way to make life an adventure for me and I love spoiling his evil plans. As for Shadow and Metal Sonic, I just enjoy testing my skills against them too. You know me, I love adventures!

Sega.com: We get a whole lot of letters on this one: Do you think Sonic and Amy Rose will ever get married?

Yuji Naka: There will be hardly be any chance, I bet. Amy will continue to pursue Sonic all the time, but Sonic will not ever get married. I think so, because I cannot picture the image of Sonic that he is married and has his children! Also, I feel it is a more Amy's style to always chase Sonic.

Sega.com: Is Sonic excited about being on all of the platforms in Sonic Heroes? What about it thrills him the most?

Yuji Naka: Of course he is excited, because more people than ever before will enjoy his game. He seems thrilled to be able to run on the various platforms!

Sega.com: What is Sonic's favorite thing to do in his free time?

Yuji Naka: ...I feel certain that he is running somewhere, because he loves running.

Sega.com: Sonic sure is busy -- how many hours of sleep does he need per night?

Yuji Naka: Hmm, I suppose he sleeps the ordinary eight hours a night or so, because unless he sleeps well, lack of sleep will affect his run...

Sega.com: Did Sonic have a hand in changing Dr. Robotnik's name to Dr. Eggman for the United States games? If so, was he trying to make fun of his nemesis?

Yuji Naka: To tell the truth, his name has not changed. Robotnik is his real name and Eggman is a common name taken after his shape. Possibly, it may have been Sonic, who uttered this alias for the first time! I feel, though, Sonic uses this name affectionately, rather than trying to make fun of him.
